Featured Artist: Patricia Michaud-Towery
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is pleased to announce its new exhibit featuring watercolor still life and mixed media by Pat Michaud-Towery.
Asian themes, still life with antique glass, Irises, Sunflowers & Japanese Koi are just a few of the subjects explored by Mixed Media artist, Pat Michaud-Towery. In addition, she is an accomplished papermaker delving into ancient and contemporary expressions with fibers.
Ms. Towery has won numerous awards from Southern CA to Monterey and the Bay Area for her watercolor paintings and Handmade Paper pieces. Her works have been published nationally in calendars with a focus on Japanese Koi. In addition she shares her work and processes in the annual Open Studios Art Tour in Santa Cruz, CA.
When Pat isn’t sketching and painting on location she can be found working in her studio at the 17th Avenue Studios in Santa Cruz.
Ms. Towery’s art will be available for viewing at the SCCRTC, 1523 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm through June 28th, excluding holidays.
