Take the sustainability principles survey

The Regional Transportation Commission wants to hear from you about integrating sustainable principles into the next Regional Transportation Plan. Please watch this two minute video and take this survey. A focus on integrating sustainable principles into the next Regional Transportation Plan can assist the RTC and the community in recognizing that transportation investments are not only intertwined with environment, economic, and social performance, but also require trade-offs to achieve selected sustainable goals. The survey should take you about ten minutes and is a combination of multiple choice and open ended questions. This is one of a few surveys that will be utilized to obtain input regarding draft Regional Transportation Plan goals and policies. Tomar esta encuesta!

Highway 1 Soquel/Morrissey Auxiliary Lanes Project Update – February 17

The following activities are scheduled for the next few weeks (weather permitting):

Crews will continue to install fencing around environmentally sensitive areas
Vegetation and tree clearing work to continue in construction areas and near power lines.
Slopes will be stabilized with erosion control measures
Excavation will begin for the footing of the north bound retaining wall (RW3)

Adjacent residents should expect noise and dust associated with these activities. Please drive safely and exercise caution in construction zones.
