Community acquisition of rail corridor inches closer

For the second time in less than one year, the federal Surface Transportation Board (STB) granted a petition by the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) to acquire the 32-mile Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line and move forward with closing escrow on the transportation corridor.  Read the full news release for details.
