Progress continues on the Coastal Rail Trail

UCSC Bike Path via martapiqs on flickrThe Coastal Rail Trail project continues to reach new milestones. The Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail (MBSST) Network is a planned 50-mile bicycle and pedestrian trail system that will utilize the “rail trail” as the system’s spine. The 32-mile rail trail will connect Davenport to Watsonville and passes within one mile of half of the county’s population. The trail will serve bicyclists, pedestrians, wheelchair users, and other non-motorized, active transportation needs. Get a progress report on all of the exciting ways in which the trail project is moving forward.
