Equity Workgroup Application

Thank you for your interest in serving on the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission’s (RTC) new Transportation Equity Workgroup! The Equity Workgroup is intended to elevate diverse, historically marginalized, and underrepresented voices, including (but not limited to) Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), low-income and unhoused individuals, and youth. The workgroup will advise the RTC and partner agencies on integrating equity into transportation plans, programs, projects, and policies.

Applications will be welcomed on an ongoing basis, but since we expect to hold the first workgroup meeting in October 2023, we ask that if you are interested in serving on the Transportation Equity Workgroup, please submit the form below by September 27, 2023. Accessibility & Compensation: The RTC will provide reasonable accommodations to assist members with disabilities to participate in virtual or in-person meetings. Note, while workgroup members can be reimbursed for travel expenses and some food will be available at in-person meetings, grant funding currently prevents the RTC from paying workgroup members to participate.
