WHAT'S NEW?
- On August 15, 2013, the RTC adopted the transportation project list for the 2014 Regional Transportation Plan and Metropolitan Transportation Plan. This list identifies the full list of transportation needs for Santa Cruz County and the projects that are prioritized for funding based on foreseeable revenues.
- September 11 - The Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments (AMBAG) will adopt a single preferred scenario including the RTC’s transportation project list, plus transportation projects for Monterey and San Benito Counties, and land uses for all three counties.
- October – The RTC will review the STARS quantitative analysis of the financially constrained set of transportation projects, with and without new funding mechanisms.
