Notice of Public Hearing: Funding for Transportation Projects

The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 7th at 9:30 AM at the County of Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors Chambers (701 Ocean St) to solicit public comments regarding projects proposed for regional shares of state and federal transportation funds. Projects are located in unincorporated areas of Santa Cruz County and in the cities of Capitola, Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley, and Watsonville.

Projects under consideration include:

• Local road preservation – pavement repairs
• Bicycle and sidewalk projects
• New buses for Santa Cruz METRO
• Highway 1/9 Intersection Improvements
• Environmental review of Highway 1 projects
